I’ve seen a few posts over the past two days, stemming from Mother’s Day, I guess, that are about our (Christians’) great Mother, the Church. I’ll be blogging about this too. I’m really troubled by this since there is really no Scriptural warrant for it (and no, the passage in Revelation 12.1-4 doesn’t count).
Fascinating, when I did a Google search to find a picture to use here, about 50% of the links were to Mother Church, Christian Scientist.
Now that’s a bit frightening when evangelical Christians are talking about the Church as our Mother and the Christian Scientists have the “real thing!”
